This was the Masonic Hall for more than 100 years, from 1880 to 1986. The building is unique in how it has changed its face over time. In 1926, more room was needed, so the building was cut in half and moved to create more space, with the six windows pictured here. The original structure had only five windows. The present building was rebuilt after a fire, and the original design of five windows is what is now seen. Many different shops filled the first floor over the years, as they still do today. The lodge hall was on the second floor.
